Interfaith Council hosts 31st Thanksgiving eve service

The Claremont Interfaith Council holds its 31st annual Interfaith Thanksgiving service at 7 p.m. Thanksgiving eve, Wednesday, November 23, at Temple Beth Israel, 3033 N. Towne Ave., in Pomona.

The council invites all from the surrounding communities to join in “sharing gratitude for the bounties we experience living in a nation founded on core principals of freedom and liberty that are supported by a spiritual foundation,” read a news release.

The service will feature local clergy, lay leaders and representatives of Indigenous neighbors. There will also be a variety of music including contemporary selections, communal singing, and a multi-congregation choir coordinated by Geri DeMasi.

The program will be available on Facebook Live at facebook.com/claremontinterfaithcouncil and on YouTube.

Offerings for Inland Valley Hope Partners food programs will be accepted.
