The final meeting of the Democratic Club of Claremont before its summer recess is scheduled for Monday, June 27 at the Napier Center, 660 Avery Rd., in Pilgrim Place.

The in-person meeting will begin at 7 p.m. and will feature several club members giving “a rousing send-off to our summer break about the upcoming fall elections.” Among the speakers will be Mel Boynton, Andy Winnick, Gene Boutilier, Merrill Ring, Hugh Wire and Meg Mathies.

A campaign advocacy activity and a brief business meeting will follow the program. The public is invited to this free and open meeting and masking is recommended. Refreshments will be served.
