The top poem of each category will receive a $50 gift card, second place $30. The top five in each category will be printed and displayed at the library.

Entry forms are available at the library, 208 N. Harvard Ave., Claremont. Completed forms and poems can be submitted there, or by mail, or via email to pespinosa@library.lacounty.gov. Contestants are allowed one entry.

Finalists will be contacted by Monday, May 15 and winners must pick up their prize by Wednesday, May 31. This contest, a first for the library, is sponsored by the Friends of the Claremont Library.
