Opt out of porch/driveway flyers
According to City Manager Adam Pirrie’s March 10 manager’s brief, Claremont has “received complaints from residents regarding the distribution of value coupon flyers and other business flyers left on driveways and porches.”
Residents are reminded that the city “does not restrict the delivery of mailers or pamphlets to homes.” However, as a courtesy, city staff are working with Vericast, the company that produces Save mailers, to remove Claremont addresses from its delivery list.
Residents who wish to opt out of receiving Save coupon flyers and periodicals can complete the form on the city’s website — ci.claremont.ca.us/living/sustainability/driveway-flyer-opt-out. For more details and other unsubscribing options from Save, visit https://save.com/mailing/delivery-options.
It may take up to six weeks for the mailers to stop, as the advertising programs are prepared several weeks in advance.
