Our Lady of the Assumption shares good financial news

In its recent weekly bulletin on January 30, Our Lady of the Assumption church announced that its Together in Mission collection for 2021 was finalized and totaled an astounding $127,052 in donations. The grand total was just $7,613 short of the parish’s $134,665 goal.

“We thank all of the generous OLA donors who supported parishes and schools in need throughout the Archdiocese [of Los Angeles],” the bulletin read. “The need is greater than ever due to pandemic challenges, and there is no greater Catholic cause in Southern California. The renewal of pledges for the 2022 campaign begins in February.”

Contributions can be made by filling out an envelope during any OLA weekend mass and noting that the donation is for the Together in Mission collection. Envelopes can be placed in church’s collection basket during mass. Forms are also available at the parish office or you may donate online at www.ourmissionla.org using parish code ‘467.’

“Be assured that Together in Mission is among the best ways to directly help our brothers and sisters in Christ right here at home,” OLA Claremont shared online.
