Police searching for two suspects involved in three commercial burglaries

Claremont police are on the lookout for two suspects who broke into three Claremont businesses early Wednesday morning.

Around 2:08 a.m. Claremont police officers responded to report of a suspicious dark colored SUV in the parking lot of a shopping center in the 600 block of E. Foothill Boulevard. As officers arrived, the vehicle left westbound on Foothill at a high rate of speed and the suspects were able to elude capture.

Officers discovered shattered glass doors and windows at Lucky’s Coffee Roasters,
Blue Fin Sushi and Teriyaki, and Magnolia Bistro and Wine Bar. Store video surveillance showed two suspects wearing dark colored clothing, hooded sweatshirts, masks, and gloves breaking into the businesses.
