Residential construction sign regulations

The community improvement division would like to remind residents and local contractors of regulations regarding the presence, size and placement of construction signs on properties within the city.

One construction sign or “job” sign, no more than six square feet in area and five feet in height, is permitted on residential properties. Signs must be removed when construction work is completed.

No signs are allowed to be placed in the public right-of-way. Larger construction announcement signs are allowed with a permit and approval from the city.

For additional clarification or information, contact the community improvement division at (909) 399-5467.
