Shen Yun Performing Arts, a classical Chinese dance company based in New York, brings “Shen Yun” to Pomona College’s Bridges Auditorium, 450 N. College Way, Claremont. Shows are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 10; 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 11; and 1 p.m. Sunday, March 12.

Performances of Shen Yun, which translates from Chinese as “the beauty of divine beings dancing,” feature classical Chinese dances with orchestral accompaniment.

Tickets range from $80 to $165 at shenyun.com. Children under 4 are not admitted.

Shen Yun asks theatergoers to wear evening or business attire to the event such as a tuxedo, evening gown, dress or jacket and tie. Photography and video recording of any kind are strictly prohibited.
