Shoes That Fit, Enterprise donate 301 pairs of shoes to Pomona school
On March 27, Claremont nonprofit Shoes That Fit and Enterprise Holdings, the parent company of Enterprise Car Rental and Alamo, recently provided new athletic shoes to 301 students at Barfield Elementary School in Pomona.
“We are very grateful to Shoes That Fit and Enterprise for providing shoes to our students,” said Barfield Principal Sarah Vasquez in a statement. “All our students are from a Title I school, so it really is beneficial for them. It gives them the opportunity to wear comfortable shoes on a daily basis so that they are able to play during their recess time, P.E. time, and be very active and fit.”
