Storm brings rain, but less snow

With high temperatures in the 40s in Claremont Tuesday, one might think two inches of rain would bring significant snow to Mt Baldy, above. That wasn’t really the case this time around as less than a foot of the white stuff fell at even the highest of elevations. There may not even be enough to ski on given this was the first snow of the season. Be sure to call and check conditions before leaving to ski. Needless to say, if you are interested in seeing a winter wonderland, the best advice is to go sooner than later given sunny skies are on tap for the remainder of the week.
