City seeks public input on Foothill Boulevard Master Plan

Claremont officials will host a meeting to discuss the Foothill Boulevard Master Plan on Wednesday, January 22 at 7 p.m. in the Padua Room at the Hughes Center, 1700 Danbury Road.

The project team of traffic engineers, landscape architects, arborists, and planners will present preliminary findings on the project and seek input from the public on how the roadway should be maintained and improved in the future. Issues to be discussed include intersections, lane widths, bicycle and pedestrian improvements, transit improvements, public art opportunities, entry signs, street trees, and landscaping of the medians and parkways. Residents, neighboring property owners, Foothill Boulevard business owners and other interested residents are encouraged to attend and provide comment.
