Green Ribbon Week starts March 17
Tri City Mental Health Services will kick off Green Ribbon Week next week, with a free special event on Monday, March 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hughes Center, 1700 Danbury Road in Claremont. The first annual Green Ribbon Week is being held in an effort to fight the stigma of mental illness by encouraging discussion. In addition to encouraging locals to wear lime green ribbons, Tri City officials will host a variety of free events featuring short films and speakers. In addition to the Claremont kick-off, the organization will host an event at the La Verne Community Center, 3680 D. St, on Tuesday, March 18 from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the Wellness Center, 1403 N.
