Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden presents summer concerts and more

The Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden is one of Claremont’s jewels and butterflies are among nature’s jewels and you can experience both during the Garden’s Butterflies and Brews nights.

Each Wednesday in July, local musicians provide the soundtrack to the garden, the Butterfly Pavilion and LT Mustardseed’s amazing upcycled sculptures from 5 to 8 p.m. Tickets include one beer and light snacks. Must be 21 or older to attend with proper ID, no exceptions. Children will not be admitted even if a parent or guardian is present (children may enjoy Wednesday extended hours in the Garden but will be excluded from the Butterflies and Brews beverage areas). Admission for RSABG members is $10 or $15 for the public.

More musical evenings will be held Thursdays from June 26 to July 31, with gates opened at 6 p.m. for picnicking and food service from Gourmet Gourmet. Concerts begin at 7 p.m. in the California Courtyard. Ticket prices include parking and evening admission to the Garden. Tickets are limited and advance purchase is recommended. No refunds or ticket exchanges. Individual concert prices are $10 for members and adults, $5 for seniors, students and children 3-12.

Purchase season tickets and get six shows for the price of five and avoid waiting in line. For Garden Groove 2014 lineup, please visit www.rsabg.org/garden-events. Email info@rsabg.org or call (909) 25-8767 for more information.
