According to a news release from Claremont Police lieutenant Karlan Bennett a commercial burglary occurred Saturday at approximately 4 a.m. at Salon Luxe located at 937 W. Foothill Blvd in Claremont. A suspect smashed the glass front door of the business and stole cash, merchandise and a surveillance camera. The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall, 200 pounds, wearing a LA Dodgers hat, black-rimmed glasses, gray shirt, blue jeans and dark gloves. The suspect’s left forearm is covered with tattoos and he also has what appeared to be a tattoo or scar on his right jaw line. There was no vehicle seen.
