Commercial burglary suspect arrested in Pomona

Credit cards belonging to a business located in the 400 block of West Foothill Boulevard were stolen on May 27. The suspects tried to use the stolen credit cards at two separate gas stations in the city of Pomona. A dark-colored SUV and a white pickup truck were seen on surveillance cameras arriving together at one of the gas stations. A female was seen exiting the white truck and she attempted to use the stolen credit cards at the gas station.

On May 28, further investigation was conducted by Claremont police officers and detectives, which led them to the 2900 block of Eaton Place in Pomona. The two suspect vehicles were found in the driveway. A probation search was conducted at the residence and evidence from the burglary was located. The female suspect seen in the surveillance footage at the gas station was also located inside the residence. Pomona resident Marnee Corley, 44 years old, was arrested for burglary and transported to the Claremont Police Department Jail, where she is currently being held in lieu of  $20,000 bail. Her arraignment date is scheduled for today, Monday, June 1 in Pomona Superior Court.
