Measure PS presentation, Q&A at Active Claremont meeting
Frank Bedoya, a former police commissioner, and Bob Tener—both proponents for Measure PS—will lead the Thursday, October 15 Active Claremont meeting at 7 p.m. with a presentation about the measure, which would authorize the Claremont City Council to adopt an ordinance levying a special parcel tax to fund a new public safety facility. Opponents to Measure PS will be available during the question and answer session only.
Mr. Bedoya and Mr. Tener will present information outlying the need for the facility, the location, furnishing and equipping, and rationale for funding with a parcel tax.
The meeting, which free and open to the public, will take place in the Santa Fe Room at the Hughes Community Center, 1700 N Danbury Road in Claremont.
