City accepting community-based organization grant applications
The city of Claremont is accepting grant applications for the 2016-17 Community Based Organization (CBO) Program. The CBO Program’s mission is to partner with nonprofit service providers in order to strengthen the social, economic and family infrastructure in the Claremont community.
The city has allocated $86,650 for the 2016-17 general services and $60,000 is available for homeless services.
Applications are available at the Alexander Hughes Center or by contacting the Human Services Department at (909) 399-5331, by email at amartinez@ci.claremont.ca.us, as well as through the city’s website. Applications must be submitted on a city-provided form, and are due to the Hughes Center, 1700 Danbury Rd., Claremont, no later than 5 p.m. on Thursday, January 14, 2016.
