New construction at Western Christian Schools along Padua Avenue dots the landscape at sunset Saturday. Winter will be making an appearance this week as storms are expected to blow through the region starting late Monday, not ending until Thursday. With high temperatures only hovering around 50 degrees in Claremont, snow is expected in the mountains, with over two feet above 7000 feet.
