Chevron gas station robbed, police search for armed robbery suspect

Claremont police are searching for a suspect who robbed the Chevron Gas Station at 267 S. Indian Hill Blvd. on Wednesday, January 6 at about 10:30 p.m.

The male suspect entered the gas station, brandished a knife and demanded money. The clerk then handed over an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect, who was wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt, mask and grey pants with a black backpack, fled the location on foot heading westbound on Arrow Highway. He is described as an African American male, 20 to 25 years old, standing six feet tall and weighing between 140 and 160 pounds.
