Break in the storm

Claremonters endured a good soaking of 2 inches of rain Tuesday and Wednesday, as a pair of El Nino sibling storms blew through the area. Snow levels dropped below 5000 feet, dropping over 2 feet of snow is some areas. The ski lift operators are ready to serve you now. The Southland will get another dose of light rain late Saturday and into Sunday. Next week will have a slight warm-up with party cloudy skies and high temperatures in the low 60s, lows in the high 30s. COURIER photo/Peter Weinberger
