Sun, clouds and snow (finally)

Late afternoon sunlight illuminates the fresh snow fallen on Ontario peak from a recent storm the marched through Southern California. Snow totals in the mountains this year have been light, so resorts welcomed the 6-8 inches that fell over the past 72 hours. Claremont received just under an inch of rain total from the system. The forecast through the weekend is mostly sunny, windy, with highs near 70. COURIER photo/Steven Felschundneff
