Wine, spirits, beer tasting at Mi Casa Es Su Casa

The annual Mi Casa Es Su Casa wine, spirits and craft beer tasting charity event is coming to Hotel Casa 425 on Sunday, May 22 from 4 to 7 p.m. Proceeds go to support the work of both the Claremont Community Foundation (CCF) and the Claremont Educational Foundation (CEF).

Delight in an evening of fine wine and craft beer tastings Hotel Casa 425 in Claremont’s Village West. Sip an array of special libations while enjoying tasty offerings from the area’s finest establishments (including Bardot, Nuno’s, the Cheese Cave and many others), and listening to Afro-Cuban latin jazz band, Mambo Italiano. Meet representatives from Young’s Market Company and taste exceptional offerings, including Beuna Vista Winery, Greywacke, Legari, Martin Ray Winery, Pascual Toso Winery, Napa Cellars, Trimbach Estate, Zenato Winery and beer and ales from Last Name Brewery (Dale Bros) and Iron Fist Brewing Company.

Guests can take part in a vintner-inspired raffle of wines and gifts from local merchants. Additional contributions may win the drawing for a collector’s case of fine vintages or even a romantic get-away for two.

This event sells out every year, so reservations are a must. Tickets, which are $75 each, may be purchased online at www.claremonteducationalfoundation.org or by contacting the Claremont Community Foundation at 398-1060.
