Tickets are now on sale for the Kiwanis Club of Claremont’s eighth annual Route 66 Party on Friday, September 23 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Claremont.

The evening, which begins at 6 p.m, will include a buffet dinner and dancing to the music of The Ravelers, as well as a casino, over 50 theme baskets for the silent auction, complimentary photo booth and a bingo parlor.

Opportunity drawing tickets are $5 each, three for $10 or seven for $20 giving participants the chance to win a wide variety of prizes, including a first prize of Southwest Airline tickets and second prize, a case of wine.

Funds raised from the event will be used to support many community programs such as The Read Me pre-School reading program, the Claremont Educational Foundation, Meals on Wheels, Shoes That Fit, high school scholarships, the Special Olympics Bowling Tournament and Monday Night Concerts in the Park.
