A mother and son were arrested for fiduciary elder abuse after police found out they were taking money from an elderly family member’s bank account. The mother, Jennifer Jackson, 41 of Claremont, initially called police after she found out her son, 21-year-old Michael Oden, withdrew $100 from the victim’s bank account. Police arrived to the home, and a further investigation revealed Ms. Jackson allegedly withdrew $2,700 herself from the victim’s account for personal use. Both Ms. Jackson and Mr. Oden were arrested and transported to CPD jail.
