City wants feedback for College Park improvements

On Wednesday, October 26 at 6:30 p.m., the city’s Sports Committee will host a College Park neighborhood meeting at the Blaisdell Community Center. The committee invites surrounding College Park residents and members of Claremont Little League to attend to begin the process of drafting a new College Park Neighborhood Agreement.

The purpose of the agreement is to provide a clear outline on issues such as sports field lighting, parking and noise.

The neighbors and Claremont Little League will have an opportunity to express any concerns or ask questions they may have about the current agreement, as well as to make suggestions for park improvements.

Both the neighborhood and Little League will have an opportunity to select representatives to discuss those recommendations and draft a new College Park Neighborhood Agreement with very specific parameters.

The Blaisdell Community Center is located at 440 S. College Ave. If you have any questions or comments, contact Ali Martinez at (909) 399-5331 or by email at amartinez@ci.claremont.ca.us.
