Attempted robbery at Shell on Christmas eve

On December 24 at 1:15 a.m., a suspect entered the Shell Gas Station at 747 S. Indian Hill Blvd., approached the clerk in the security booth and displayed a knife. The suspect demanded money from the clerk, but the clerk refused.

The suspect fled the gas station as a customer entered the business. The suspect did not obtain any money from the victim. The suspect is described as a tall, thin and young black male, who was carrying a “Taylor Made” golf umbrella. He was wearing a Raiders jacket with an American flag on the right shoulder and the words “Salute to Service” on the left arm. He was also wearing a beanie and a camouflage backpack.
