Armed robber targets Domino’s Pizza in Claremont

Claremont police are looking for a man who robbed a pizza place after throwing a brick through the glass door Tuesday night.

Workers were inside at Domino’s Pizza on the 300 block of west Foothill Boulevard around 11:35 p.m. when the robber shattered the glass with a brick, brandished a revolver and demanded cash, Sgt. David DeMetz of the Claremont Police Department said.

The robber fled the business with an unknown amount of cash and ran eastbound on Foothill Boulevard out of view, police said.

The robber is described as a Hispanic man of unknown age, approximately 5 feet, 5 inches to 5 feet, 6 inches tall, wearing black boots, blue pants, a dark blue puffy jacket with a hood and a dark-colored bandana obscuring the lower half of his face. There was no suspect vehicle seen, police said.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Claremont Police Department at (909) 399-5411.
