CEF offers coding workshop for parents, students

The Claremont Educational Foundation (CEF) and Claremont Unified School District (CUSD) present Community Conversation, a speaker/activity series to enrich the intellectual lives of teachers, students, parents and community members.

On Thursday, March 9, elementary school children and their parents/caregivers are invited to learn coding basics in a fun, interactive, hands-on and age-appropriate workshop. The workshop begins at 6 p.m. in the multi-purpose room at El Roble Intermediate School, 665 N. Mountain Ave.

Adult participants must bring a photo identification card to check out iPads and other equipment. Interested participants can reserve their space in the free workshop by registering online at This event is sponsored by Stem Center USA and Kumon.
