CEF offers coding workshop for parents, students
The Claremont Educational Foundation (CEF) and Claremont Unified School District (CUSD) present Community Conversation, a speaker/activity series to enrich the intellectual lives of teachers, students, parents and community members.
On Thursday, March 9, elementary school children and their parents/caregivers are invited to learn coding basics in a fun, interactive, hands-on and age-appropriate workshop. The workshop begins at 6 p.m. in the multi-purpose room at El Roble Intermediate School, 665 N. Mountain Ave.
Adult participants must bring a photo identification card to check out iPads and other equipment. Interested participants can reserve their space in the free workshop by registering online at supportcef.com/hourofcode. This event is sponsored by Stem Center USA and Kumon.
