Renwick House has a new location: see video

Workers with American Heavy Moving and Rigging move Renwick House across College Avenue early Monday morning. College Avenue was closed to traffic at midnight so the move could be completed and the house was safely in its new location by 2:30 a.m. About 30 people—including Pomona College staff President David Oxtoby, VP Marylou Ferry, Assistant VP of Facilities Bob Robinson and museum staff Kathleen Howe and Steve Comba—came to take photos and celebrate the big move. The relocation is yet another step in Pomona College’s plan to build an art museum on the west side of College between Second Street and Bonita Avenue. COURIER photo/Peter Weinberger
