The Claremont Hills Wilderness Park will be closed for the rest of Monday afternoon due to a red flag warning, the city said.

A red-flag warning means the fire conditions in the hills are at a critical stage. The park will be closed from 3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Monday, June 26. Unless the warning is extended, the park plans to reopen Tuesday morning at 5:30 a.m.
