Claremont Committee on Aging honors Inter Valley Health Plan

Inter Valley Health Plan, a Pomona-based nonprofit, was selected as the 2017 recipient of the “Extra Mile, Extra Smile” award, presented by the Claremont Committee on Aging.

IVHP received the distinction for its continued support to the Claremont Senior Program through service and the contribution of professional support and financial donations. This is the second time the health plan has received this award.

“To be recognized as a supportive partner and advocate of the Claremont Senior Program for the second time is a great honor for us,” Ronald Bolding, president and CEO, Inter Valley Health Plan said. “After nearly 40 years, we stay true to our mission to educate, empower and engage older adults in the community so they can live healthier lives and this award solidifies our dedication in this area.”

Claremont residents can attend free Medicare workshops and health classes at IVHP’s Claremont center, located at 1601 Monte Vista, Suite 275. For a list of upcoming classes in Claremont, visit forhealthandliving.com/ivhpevents. To learn more about Inter Valley Health Plan, visit ivhp.com
