Practice makes perfect
Summertime not only means hot weather, it also marks the beginning of football mini-camps held by the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps coaching staff at Zinda Field on the CMC campus. The camps are a chance for student athletes of all ages to get in shape for the fast approaching football season. Because of the heat, practices were held in the early evening near sunset. The weather for the Claremont area is going to be down right hot and humid, with high temperatures hovering near 100 degrees, with a slight chance of rain Tuesday through Friday. The mountain areas will have a much better chance of isolated thunderstorms. Lows will stay in the 70s, so there really won’t be much of a cool down after the suns sets.
