Burglar smashes windows at four salons on Foothill Boulevard
Police are investigating break ins at four Claremont businesses that were burglarized early Tuesday morning.
Police arrived to Audacious Salon on the 600 block of Foothill Boulevard around 1:37 a.m. after a burglary alarm went off at the location, according to a release from the Claremont Police Department. The front door glass had been smashed, but the perpetrators fled before officers arrived.
While officers were at Audacious, another burglary alarm went off around 1:45 a.m. at Supercuts on the 900 block of Foothill Boulevard. The business was burglarized and the front register had been ransacked, police said. Officers also noticed the front glass to an adjacent business, Ideal Nails, had also been shattered, but its alarm was not activated.
Two other businesses in the same area suffered the same fate—Golden Spa Massage and Salon Bloom. Both businesses’ front windows had been smashed, with no alarm activation.
It is currently unknown what was taken from the businesses, and there is no suspect information, police said. Claremont police are asking anyone in the area who has surveillance cameras to review footage from the time of the break-ins.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Claremont Police Department at (909) 399-5411.
