Fall planting festival at Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden

Residents are invited to enjoy the fall planting festival at the Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden on Saturday, October 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free but members may enter early at 8 a.m.

The seasonal opening of the grow native nursery at RSABG includes an amazing selection of native plants, succulent arrangements and wreaths made by the native designs florist team.

The festival will also offer several free lectures, including “Ethnobotanical uses of the Native Plants of California” with Nicholas Hummingbird at 11 a.m. and “How to Water Your Plants for Drought-Tolerant Establishment” with Carlos Ruiz at 1 p.m..

The fall planting festival features an enormous native plant selection, seeds, free lectures, native plant experts table, a succulent arrangement and wreath sale and free garden admission.
