Free class to help seniors achieve optimal heart health

To recognize American Heart Month in February, and if you are over 50, now is the time to pay attention to the health of your heart.

Heart health becomes more important and should be a top priority as people age. Being proactive about health can be the best thing you do for yourself.

Older adults interested in learning more can attend a free class on heart health in Claremont on February 27 at 10 a.m.

Attendees can learn how the heart works and what can go wrong, along with prevention and available treatments of heart problems.

The class will take place at Inter Valley Health Plan Medicare Information Center in the Pomona Valley Health Center Building, located at 1601 Monte Vista Ave., Suite 275, Claremont.
