Claremont remembers…

Just after 7 p.m., Thursday night outside the Claremont City Hall, over 30 people prayed, sang and remembered the victims from the shootings at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida. Near the end of the vigil the audience listened to the names and backgrounds of the 17 victims, in a solemn reminder of the horror they faced that day. There was also the message of hope that this event could start to address this too common occurrence in our country. COURIER photo/Peter Weinberger
