Sneak weather preview

With the various weather systems blowing through the Southern California area over the past several days, bringing much needed rain and plenty of clear skies, it’s actually starting to feel a little like winter out there. It also makes downtown Los Angeles quite visible almost 35 miles away as seen from Base Line Road and Padua Avenue. Claremont should get a little more rain Friday night, but the skies will clear and by Monday we could see temperatures hovering around 70. But rain is on the way and by Wednesday and Thursday over an inch is expected to fall. We’ll see if the weather forecast holds up. COURIER photo/Peter Weinberger
