Claremont police are looking for two men who burglarized Bardot restaurant early Thursday morning.

The burglary was discovered just before 8:30 a.m. on May 31 when the owner arrived at the restaurant on 206 west Bonita Avenue, according to the Claremont Police Department. The front glass door had been shattered, but no suspects were seen.

Surveillance footage from the restaurant showed the two suspects shattering the front glass door around 4:23 a.m., police said. After the glass was smashed, one of the suspects entered the restaurant and into an office area while the second suspect served as a lookout. The first suspect then leaves the restaurant and the duo flee undetected.

Police did not provide the surveillance footage to the COURIER.

There is no known property loss, but the investigation is still ongoing, police said.

The first suspect is described as a man about six feet to six feet, two inches tall; with a thin build and wearing a light-colored hoodie with the hood over his head and a partial face mask. He was also wearing dark-colored pants and dark-colored shoes with reflective material on them.

The second suspect is described as a male, with an average build wearing a light-colored hoodie and dark-colored pants.

Police are asking nearby businesses to review their surveillance footage during the time of the burglary to see if the suspects were seen. Anyone with information should call the Claremont Police Department at (909) 399-5411.
