Claremont Place announces ‘Senior to Senior’ winners
The Claremont Place “Senior to Senior” Legacy Scholarship committee announced the winners of a $1000 scholarship at its sixth annual award presentation on May 17.
Winners are Rayyan Misherghi, Bridget Englebert, Carly Weiner, Sana Imam and Maryn Santiago.
Each college-bound student submitted an application consisting of an essay expressing their reasons for pursuing higher education as well as a personal account of how a senior, or seniors, have impacted their life. Also submitted were two references and proof of an overall GPA of 3.0 or better.
Claremont Place has awarded $30,000 in scholarships over the past six years to Claremont students.
The “Senior to Senior” Legacy Scholarship has been a tremendously encouraging process for the residents of Claremont Place and enabled them to connect intergenerationally with the greater Claremont community.
