Police explorer wins national motocross competition

Claremont police explorer Seth Hadfield showed off his motocross skills recently, finishing in first place in two events during the 2018 United States Police and Fire Motocross Championship.

During the first day of competition, Mr. Hadfield competed in two 20-minute races around the track, followed by a one-hour Grand Prix style race, which Mr. Hadfield won in the 18 and over novice group, according to the US Police and Fire Games website.

The Olympic-style games were held from June 2 to June 9, 2018 in San Diego, and featured 54 different sports that varied from biathlon, golf, rifle, swimming and even pickle ball.
