Police station, city hall department hours reduced
Beginning Monday, July 9, the Claremont Police Department records bureau/lobby hours will be reduced due to staffing limitations.
The updated police department lobby hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and closed Sundays.
Also beginning Monday, July 9, the public counter hours for building and planning will be reduced due to staffing limitations, according to the city manager’s report.
Building counter hours at city hall will now be Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. (closed for lunch from noon to 1 p.m.) for permits.
Interim building official counter hours will be Mondays from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. and Wednesdays from 2 to 5:30 p.m. Business hours via phone and email will remain full-time.
Planning counter hours will be Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (closed for lunch from noon to 1p.m.) All other hours are by appointment only.
