Security guard injured in fight with homeless man

On Wednesday, August 22 Sean Depperschmidt, 50, from Rancho Cucamonga, was setting up camp for the night in a parking lot of Yum Yum Donuts around 10:45 p.m. when a private security guard asked him to leave. Mr. Depperschmidt apparently didn’t like that, and a fight ensued, Lt. Walters said. During the fight, Mr. Depperschmidt reportedly grabbed a lid from a garbage can and struck the guard on the arm, causing a two-to-three inch cut. He was also uncooperative with police. He was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, trespassing and resisting arrest and transported to CPD jail.
