Check out the second installment in the Flying with Miss Pixie video series. One of the largest wind farms in the US is located 100 miles east of LA near Palm Springs, CA. There are over 4000 working wind turbines, some 30 years old, others brand new and over 250 feet high. And as the design and technology continue to improve, wind turbines all over the world continue to get larger, more efficient, and far more durable.
