Police are investigating a burglary that occurred at a south Claremont café.

Early Sunday morning around 1:49 a.m., Claremont officers were alerted to a burglary alarm at 85 Degrees Bakery and Café at 428 Auto Center Drive, according to a release from the Claremont Police Department.

Surveillance footage from the scene showed the suspect shattering the front glass door, entering the business and stealing the cash register drawers. It is currently unknown how much money was taken.

The suspect is described as a man wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with the hood cinched closed, police said. He had a bandanna covering his face, dark pants and white and black tennis shoes. There was no suspect vehicle seen.
