Week of winter rains in Claremont

The second of several winter storms expected this week rolled through the area on Monday drenching an already damp Inland Valley following last week’s rain. Tuesday the rain is forecast to start in the afternoon but will continue all night and into Wednesday. Also it will be cool for Southern California with highs in the mid 50s. For the San Gabriel Mountains, heavy snow will fall at elevations over 7000 feet. Snow totals could hit two feet at the Mt. Baldy ski area. COURIER photo/Steven Felschundneff
