Odd weather descends on Claremont

What was looking like a nice clear sunny day in the morning on Monday, turned into isolated showers with low hanging, threatening clouds by the afternoon. They formed north of the city and then drifted south right down Mills Ave (in photo). Although it didn’t amount to much rain, cold weather is coming with low temperatures near freezing the next couple of days. More rain is in the forecast Wednesday and Thursday, but less will fall compared to the last couple of weeks. The cold weather will bring snow levels down to 3000 feet, if enough precipitation is squeezed from the storm clouds. At lower elevations expect a quarter to half inch of rain.
