It may be this spring we can call the City of Trees, the City of Green because of the spectacular display of color in the foothills north of Claremont. I’ve photographed the Claremont Wilderness Park many times, but have never seen such vivid color, especially this early in the year. All the winter rain will also bring on a lush wildflower bloom, which is beginning to happen now. So keep your eyes open, since warm weather is coming only adding to these wonderful scenic views.
