Foothill AIDS Project’s Dining Out For Life takes place April 25, with several local restaurants taking part in the annual event.

Local participants include Claremont Craft Ales, House of Pong, Saca’s, Sanctuary Coffee and Mr. D’s Diner.

Dining Out For Life is an international restaurant-based fundraiser that exclusively benefits AIDS service organizations, such as the Foothill AIDS Project (FAP). More than 70 cities and regions held a Dining Out For Life event in 2018, and together raised more than $3.9 million. The best part: This money stayed in the local markets and went to help people living with HIV and AIDS in those regions.

It’s easy and fun to be a part of this international day of service: Simply dine at a participating restaurant on Thursday, April 25 and part of your bill goes to help people living with HIV and AIDS throughout the Inland Empire and San Gabriel Valley.

“Dining Out For Life is one of the easiest ways to help over 1,300 local residents living with HIV and AIDS,” said FAP Executive Director Maritza Tona. “All we ask residents to do is go out to eat. Enjoy a delicious meal from one of our participating restaurants, and those restaurants donate a generous portion of the proceeds to support the services of Foothill AIDS Project.”

Foothill AIDS Project offers a full spectrum of programs and services that empower clients in three counties to manage their own long-term health goals. Integrated treatment and chronic care management, paired with stable housing planning and outreach, provide many tools for people living with HIV/AIDS to live longer, healthier, and more stable lives.
