Adult, senior French language and culture classes begin

Would you like to expand your knowledge of French language and culture? Join instructor and French-native Jerome Manin on a “tour de France.”

Participants 18 and older will learn about French history, culture and language through discussions and media presentations.

Students enrolled in the French Language and Culture II class must have taken French Language and Culture I or have elementary knowledge of French language.

Classes will be held at the Hughes Center on Thursdays, June 6 through August 29 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The fee is $150 for Claremont residents and $155 for non-residents.

French Language and Culture I will also be offered to through the senior services program. Designed for beginners, this course, also taught by Mr. Manin, will introduce students to all things French.

Through discussion, group activities and media presentations, the course will examine cultural subjects as well as French pronunciation and conversation. This class will take place on Tuesdays, June 11 through August 27 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Pre-registration is required. Class fee is $80 for residents and $85 for non-residents.
