Burglars steal medication from Hendricks Pharmacy

Police are investigating a burglary that occurred at Hendrick’s Pharmacy early Tuesday morning.

At 2:08 a.m., two suspects used a pry bar to force open the front door at the pharmacy located at 137 Harvard Avenue, according to a release from the Claremont Police Department. The alarm was activated, and the burglars stole medication and fled within 50 seconds.

By the time police arrived at 2:10 a.m., the burglars were already gone. Video surveillance showed two African-American men wearing sweatpants and sweatshirts with their faces covered. A sedan was also seen in the video, but no details could be seen, police said.

Police are asking nearby businesses to check their security footage in case they caught the burglars on video.
